Visits:5 Users who are using oxygen concentrators for the first time should not worry about E2 fault codes. E2 fault codes are mandatory alarm functions required by national laws and regulations, usually generated by low oxygen flow.
Encountering the E2 code, if the concentration and flow displayed on the oxygen concentrator screen are normal, this fault code can be easily resolved. This is caused by improper use.
Firstly, remove the nasal cannula for testing. Turn off the power of the oxygen generator, unplug the disposable oxygen tube, and then restart the machine for testing. If the E2 alarm no longer occurs, it indicates that there may be a problem with the oxygen tube and a new oxygen tube needs to be replaced. It is recommended to replace it frequently and avoid cross use. At the same time, be careful to avoid squeezing and bending during use.
Secondly, if the E2 alarm still occurs after removing the disposable nasal oxygen tube, remove the humidification cup for inspection. If the alarm stops after removing the humidification cup, it is necessary to check the bubble head inside the humidification cup. Bubble heads are prone to accumulating foreign objects or scale, especially when using hard water such as tap water or well water. Please use purified water or distilled water for the humidification cup, as indicated in the instructions.
Thirdly, check the flow meter. For most flow meters, electronic touch flow meters are used, and the above methods can be used to troubleshoot the problem. Some products use a float knob flowmeter, observe whether the float of the float flowmeter is near the 0 scale, and try rotating the flowmeter knob to adjust. If it is near the 0 mark, it is due to the lack of differentiation in flow size when adjusting the flow rate, which is caused by turning it low.
Fourthly, for other reasons, ensure that the exhaust vents around the oxygen concentrator, especially at the rear and bottom, are not obstructed by walls, furniture, or other objects to maintain good heat dissipation. Is the filter replaced and cleaned.
If the above steps still cannot solve the problem, please contact the oxygen generator manufacturer or professional maintenance personnel. If the hardware problem causes the problem, it needs to be returned to the factory, or please have a professional maintenance personnel check and repair it.
